SCDC appoints new Director

SCDC is delighted to announce the appointment of Susan Paxton as the organisation’s new Director.

Susan has worked in community development for nearly 30 years and is passionate about social justice and equality for all. Susan previously held the Head of Programmes post in the organisation.

In her role as Director, she will lead the staff team in achieving SCDC’s vision of an active, inclusive and just Scotland where our communities are strong, equitable and sustainable.

On her appointment, Susan said:

“I’m delighted to be taking on the SCDC Director role and look forward to building on the organisation’s strong track record of working closely with communities, practitioners and policy makers to support best practice in community development across Scotland.”
